A local campground in Louisiana is getting a much-needed facelift. The real estate development firm Servio Capital is hosting a new reality series called “Cabin Wars: Flip It To Win It” to bring attention to its new acquisition of Adventures RV Resort.
During the show, 15 cabins will undergo renovations. But the real estate firm isn’t stopping there. The entire RV park is being remodeled this spring.

Where Is Adventures RV Resort?
Adventures RV Resort is in Robert, Louisiana just off Route 445.
I-55, which runs from Jackson, Mississippi down to New Orleans, is to the west, and I-10, which runs across the southern part of Louisiana connecting New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette, is to the south of the campground.
All of these highways make it easy to access Adventures RV Resort in southeastern Louisiana. They also allow for quick day trips to these popular cities.
Robert is an unincorporated community in Tangipahoa Parish and has about 2,000 residents.
What Happened To Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort?
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort was one of the largest employers in Robert, Louisiana. So what happened to the Jellystone affiliation?
In February 2023, the campground announced that it wouldn’t be part of this system anymore. The Tangipahoa Parish RV park had been a Jellystone Park for 47 years.
In March, it was renamed to Tangi Pines Family Campground.
However, Servio Capital purchased the property on November 30, 2023, renaming it to the current name of Adventures RV Resort. The campground has 417 RV sites and 77 cabins.
What Is “Cabin Wars: Flip It To Win It”?
“Cabin Wars: Flip It To Win It” is a reality home renovation show. It’s produced by Servio Capital, the company that purchased the old Jellystone Park. Servio Capital is a real estate development firm based in Covington, Louisiana.
Contestants on the show were hand-picked by the team at Servia Capital from all across the country. During the reality show, they’ll modernize outdated cabins at Adventures RV Resort.
Each contestant has a $20,000 budget to take a cabin from shabby to chic.
The 30-day timeframe makes the challenge even more difficult. But the ultimate winner will receive a $40,000 cash prize.
What Renovations Are Happening At Adventures RV Resort?
All 77 cabins at Adventures RV Resort are undergoing renovations. Not all of them will be filmed for the reality show, however. Only 15 will see air-time.
Some of the other updates around the campground include exterior improvements like paving all the roads and RV sites, creating bike paths, installing a new pool and splash pad, building a concert pavilion venue, and upgrading all electrical units to 50 amp.
Amenity upgrades include adding a zip line, lazy river, poolside bar, ropes course, mini bowling alley, and an inflatable playground.
The folks at Servio Capital really seem to want to create a one-of-a-kind resort in Robert, Louisiana.
We hope all of their plans come to fruition, and we see a dramatic transformation of this outdated RV park.
What Accommodations Are Available At Adventures RV Resort?
Currently, travelers can stay at Adventures RV Resort. But not every RV site and cabin is available due to the renovations.
You can make reservations through Camp Spot. There are full hook-up RV sites on concrete pads and ten different options for cabin lodging.
Travelers with four or fewer people can stay in the Petite Chalets and Petite Louisiana Lodges.
Larger families will need to book one of the other accommodations that sleep six. The Troophouses can sleep up to 12 people and offer rustic bunkhouses.
How Much Does It Cost To Stay At Adventures RV Resort?
The RV sites start at $40 during the low season from December to March. Weekends from March 1 to November 30 cost around $70 per night. Weekdays during the spring and fall cost around $50 per night. The summer season sees nightly rates of around $75.
Rates are based on five people per site, and each additional person will be charged $25 per person per night.
The cabins at Adventures RV Resort vary because there are several different sizes and types. You can book a lodge, loft, cottage, chalet, or villa.
We found the cheapest nightly rate to be $82.50 during the low season and the most expensive option to be over $380 during the summer.
When Will the Reality Show Air On TV?
