Where Is the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow?

The 2023 Florida RV SuperShow is at the Florida State Fairgrounds outside Tampa, Fla. It’s across the street from the massive Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which means you just might hit the jackpot and be able to buy that new RV you’ve had your eye on.

It’s an easy RV show to access as it’s right off I-4, which runs 132 miles across the state from Daytona Beach to Tampa. So whether you’re coming to the area from out of town or in Florida for the season, it’s easy to find the Florida RV SuperShow.

When Is the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow?

The 2023 Florida RV SuperShow runs from January 18 through January 22. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. each day and conclude at 6:00 p.m., except on the final day, which ends at 5:00 p.m.

If you don’t want the party to end, there are typically many group gatherings hosted by large RV communities and vendors. If you’re a member of any large RV community, it’s worth seeing if any activities or events are planned during the Florida RV SuperShow.

About: Bay Bayou RV Resort has served the Tampa Bay area for more than 20 years and has 274 sites. It offers discounts for active military and members of Good Sam, AAA, and FMCA. 

They offer daily, weekly, and monthly rates, which means this is a popular park for snowbirds and other seasonal guests. However, the resort offers a heated swimming pool, fishing area, and rec hall. It’s easy to stay entertained when you’re not out exploring Florida.

2. Belle Parc RV Resort

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 51.1 miles

About: Belle Parc RV Resort is a 55+ resort with 270 sites, a 10/10/10 Good Sams Park. If you know anything about the Good Sam’s scoring system, this is as good as it gets. This big-rig-friendly resort is near several large trail systems, which means plenty of biking, walking, and jogging opportunities. 

In addition, Croom State Park is nearby, which is fantastic for off-road biking and ATVs. Stream your favorite shows and enjoy the complimentary high-definition cable at your site.

3. Tampa East

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 9.5 miles

About: Tampa East is a massive RV park with more than 650 sites. Guests enjoy the laundry facilities, playground, hot tub, and many planned activities. 

While you’re only a short drive from some of the most magical places on earth, the fun doesn’t have to stop when you stay here. Take a dip in the pool, cast a line into the lake, or be the campground pickleball champion.

4. Hillsborough River State Park

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 15.9 miles

About: If you’re looking for a more natural setting, Hillsborough River State Park and its 112 sites are only a short drive from the RV show. You may not have all the fancy features of an RV park or resort. 

Still, you can enjoy a quiet stroll along the river, explore the historic structures, and enjoy a peek into what Florida looked like in its natural state before subdivisions and massive theme parks. Bring your kayaks or canoes and paddle your way through the Hillsborough River.

5. Clearwater RV Resort

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 24.3 miles

About: With over 160 sites, Clearwater RV Resort is another fantastic option if you’re looking for a place to stay while attending the RV SuperShow or just visiting Tampa. If you love biking, this is an incredible option to consider. There are several great trails, and you can even bike to Clearwater Beach and Tarpon Springs. 

There are plenty of retail locations in the area, including Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. Sites are concrete pads and include a picnic table and high-speed internet access.

6. Little Manatee River State Park

Address: 215 Lightfoot Rd, Wimauma, FL 33598

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 30.1 miles

About: Little Manatee River State Park is another incredible Florida state park. The park is home to one of the best hiking trails in the state, a 6.5-mile stacked looping trail that sends adventurers through the north half of the park. 

While there are only 34 campsites available in the park, they provide a very natural feel. You’ll be in the middle of thick vegetation and palm branches. You’ll truly feel like you’re camping when you stay here.

7. Hawaiian Isles RV Resort

Address: 4054 Aloha Boulevard, Ruskin, FL 33570

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 30.7 miles

About: The Hawaiian Isles RV Resort is one of the largest RV parks in the area. Between the full-time, seasonal, and short-term guests, there are over 1000 campsites at this massive resort. Guests love the Olympic-size pool, shuffleboard, hot tub, pickleball court, and pool tables. 

The sites are larger than you’d expect for an RV park this size. However, connectivity can be an issue with most cell phone providers in this area. If you want to stay connected, this might not be the resort for you. However, if you want to disconnect from technology, this is a fantastic option to consider.

8. Hidden River RV Resort

Address: 12500 McMullen Loop Rd, Riverview, FL 33569

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 11.9 miles

About: Hidden River RV Resort is a 55+ community with approximately 320 campsites. The resort offers a heated swimming pool, volleyball court, gym, and water access. Bring your boat and fishing poles, and you can have an incredible time. 

The park also offers a dog run for your four-legged friends. The park is new, but the sites are level gravel pads, and the check-in process is a breeze. You can stay connected by connecting to the Wi-Fi throughout the park.

9. Alafia River State Park

Address: 14326 S County Rd 39, Lithia, FL 33547

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 23.5 miles

About: Alafia River State Park has 42 campsites spread throughout two large loops. One of the most notable features of this campground is that there’s very little light. While this may be frustrating if you arrive at night, this is the place to be if you want the opportunity to gaze up at the stars. 

There are miles upon miles of trails that are great for hiking, biking, and equestrian use. This is a relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you’re looking for pull-through or back-in, you’ll find it here! Make sure you book plenty in advance and bring bug spray to fend off the mosquitos.

10. Lazydays RV Resort

Distance From Tampa RV Show: 5.9 miles

About: Lazydays RV Resort has 300 campsites and sits next to the popular RV dealership. Whether purchasing a new rig or attending the RV SuperShow, this is a great place to stay. An on-site restaurant and bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat or unwind at the end of the day. 

Go for a dip in the pool or soak your tired muscles in the hot tub. With such a short drive to the RV SuperShow, you don’t have to worry about wasting time sitting in traffic.
