Forest River is one of the most well-known RV manufacturers in the U.S. They make everything from motorhomes to travel trailers and fifth wheels. And they strive to market affordable options to consumers.

The Forest River Luxury Fifth Wheel: Riverstone

Riverstone is Forest River’s luxury fifth wheel line. From residential appliances to tile backsplashes, the interior amenities are numerous. The exterior shines with luxury as well with full-body paint. 

The construction of the Riverstone fifth wheel includes thermopane windows throughout. It has R-38 wool insulation with thermofoil and gel-coated fiberglass. It also boasts a six-point auto-leveling system on an all-steel frame. 

About the Riverstone Fifth Wheel Floor Plans

Forest River’s Riverstone has five floor plans, including two toy haulers. The Riverstone 391FSK model is 41 feet 2 inches and has a rear master bedroom with a king-size bed.

Its living room is mid-ship with a desk and two sofas. The large residential-style kitchen sits in the front and includes a dishwasher.

The 39RBFL is 41 feet 5 inches with a bath and a half. The full bathroom is ensuite to the master bedroom. And the half bath includes the washer and dryer.

The kitchen sits mid-ship on this model, with the living room in the front. The spacious living room has three couches and Riverstone’s standard entertainment center with a fireplace.

The 39RKFB has a rear kitchen and is the only model without a kitchen island. Instead, the countertop wraps around three sides of the large kitchen.

The fifth wheel is 42 feet 7 inches with a bath and a half. Its master bathroom is in the front of the unit with a large walk-in closet, linen closet, shower, toilet, and two sinks. The half bath is off the living room, which is mid-ship and includes the washer and dryer.

Both of Riverstone’s toy haulers place the master bedroom in the rear. The queen bed sits up above, with the garage below. A full bathroom and washer and dryer prep are also in the back. 

The 42-foot-2-inch long 37FLTH model has a living room in the front with three sofas and an entertainment center. And its large residential-style kitchen is mid-ship with a table and chairs.

The 42FSKG is 44 feet 10 inches and is similar to the other toy hauler but with the living room mid-ship and kitchen in the front.

Standard Features on the Riverstone

Standard features on Riverstone’s interior include Corian solid surface countertops in the kitchen. It also features a stainless steel sink and appliances.

In addition, the large french door refrigerator has an ice maker. Bathrooms in the Riverstone have porcelain toilets and stackable washers and dryers. 

The living area has a 65-inch LED smart TV with a soundbar and a fireplace. There’s Shaw residential vinyl flooring and stain-resistant carpet, day and night roller shades, and LED lighting throughout. And there are dual pane frameless windows. In addition, there’s a central vacuum system. 

All Riverstones have half-inch plywood roof decking. They also have residential soft close hinges on cabinet doors and hardwood cabinetry. And there’s a large Infiniti light over the kitchen island.

The exterior features 17.5-inch H-rated tires with aluminum rims. All slide-outs are hydraulic. It also has an electric awning with LED lights, and the entry door has a friction hinge. There’s a full docking station and a 12V powered 50 amp electrical cord reel. In addition, it has heated holding tanks. 

Is the Riverstone RV Good Quality? 

The quality and craftsmanship of the Riverstone RVs are good. You can tell the minute you walk through the door and see the finishes that love went into this line.

How Much Is a Riverstone Fifth Wheel? 

Forest River’s Riverstone fifth wheel ranges from a base price of $115,000 to $130,000, depending on the model. Previously owned fifth wheels will be less, and although they depreciate, given that they’re a luxury RV, the value will hold up more on these. You may want to shop around and compare new to used. 

Luxury Features and Additional Options

You can add luxury features to the Riverstone, which increases the price and value. For example, you can add solar and a 1,500-watt GoPower inverter in their “Ultimate Electronics Package.”

It will also give you a Furrion four-camera observation system prep, a King Wi-Fi Max route, and an omnidirectional Wi-Fi antenna. The package also includes MORyde step above entry steps at the main entry. 

Other optional features include tile pattern flooring. You can also add a fireplace in the bedroom, a ceiling fan, and more. On the exterior, you can opt for a generator and heat pump on the main air conditioner.

Is Riverstone by Forest River Worth It? 

If you’re in the market for a luxury fifth wheel to travel short-term or full-time, we highly recommend the Riverstone.
