What Is Costco?

Costco is a large membership clubhouse that goes toe-to-toe with other large clubhouses like Sam’s Club. They offer discounted prices on food and other merchandise for buying in bulk. While an annual membership costs $60 ($120 for their Executive Membership), the membership can easily pay for itself.

What Products Are Sold at Costco?

Costco, like many clubhouse-style stores, sells a variety of products. You can find everything from car tires to playground equipment. However, their primary products include food, beverages, appliances, electronics, and health and beauty products. Locations typically have a deli and bakery, but the grocery department also stocks a variety of fresh produce.

Can You Book Travel Through Costco?

While many Costco members primarily use their membership to shop in the physical stores and buy gas, Costco Travel is also a member benefit. Members can build a travel package or search through partnering hotels, cruises, rental cars, and theme parks.

What Are Costco Travel Purchases?

Costco Travel purchases are any purchases made through Costco Travel. This could be a travel package, rental car, hotel reservation, or trip on one of the partnering cruise ships. Executive members receive 2% rewards on all travel purchases. If you’re booking your entire vacation through Costco Travel, there’s a good chance you’ll pay for the cost of your membership in a single trip.
