MAK and Owen are a married couple with two very different upbringings. MAK (Mary Ashley Krogh) grew up in a military family and rarely spent time in the United States.Owen was born and raised in the South and had never ventured past the Mississippi/Alabama border. They met while attending Savannah College of Art and Design and swimming on the swim team there.
MAK and Owen believe “that life is too short, and this world is too beautiful to sit still.” Bound For Nowhere’s tag line on their Instagram account is “Nowhere Fast, Everywhere Eventually.”Because of their art backgrounds, the world is their inspiration. They curate the beauty of the outdoors and the freedom of life on the road as they document their travels.
Roxane is their current rig, a 2019 Toyota Tundra 4×4 Four Wheel Camper Hawk Flatbed built by Main Line Overland. Their rig has numerous upgrades like Overland solar panels, Battle Born lithium batteries, and full Dobinsons suspension. However, Bound For Nowhere had three other rigs during their travels.
